Tigbauan, You Are Blest

Tigbauan, you are fairly honored,
A home sprawling along a seamless shore;
Your history was vividly sculptured,
Through many a long years of endeavor.

Tigbauan, you are an enchanting gem,
Studded at the hem of the Visayas
Land that was destined by the Messias,
Wherein paganism will forever crash.

It was your bosom which God has chosen,
Where Christianity was earnestly sown;
A religion that was a priced token,
Of the Jesuit priest with a great mission.

Your children aptly acknowledged right then
The gift of faith in Father in heaven,
That was brought to your uncharted haven,
By the friars from the country of Spain.

You're the sanctuary of devotees,
Of the Beloved Holy Child Jesus;
Acclaimed as the second patron of the place,
Because of His being miraculous.

Tigbauan, you are a town that is blest,
Because your deeply devoted parish,
Has a church built out of love so lavish,
A temple of unwavering oneness.

Likened to a dream that at last came true,
The fern decked church that was built long ago,
Is now made exquisite as promised so,
Tigbauan, with love, 'tis offered to you!

Tapulanga (Hibiscus_National Flower of Hawaii)

Nagaugdo ka sa asud sang init kag ulan,
Nga sa  masiri mo nga  bukad nagaambahan;
Mapula kag hamili sa akon panan-awan,
Makabibihag, bisan sing kaamyon gindid-an.

Nagapamuskad ka man sa malip-ot nga tion,
Sinipad mo, sa duta dayon nagakarugon;
Banaag sang imo duag sa isip gihapon,
Tubtub sa pagdulom , kag sang katuyo duawon.

Kag sa pagsubang sang adlaw,,liwat ka mabanhaw,
May pagkarabak nga nagasubol sang kamingaw;
Sa akon pagdapulay,nagayuhum ikaw,
Ginaladlad ang saya nga daw nagahugyaw.

Tigbauan Hymn

You are a most precious gem, Tigbauan,
The spacious sea is your beloved one;
You are a very much cherished treasure ,
Of our long ago, ancient forefathers.

In your lush and verdant plains, Tigbauan,
Our parents have sown with aspiration,
Ardent desires for emancipation,
And dreams of a resplendent tomorrow.

Tigbauan, showered with the Lord's favors,
Abundantly bloom the gifts of nature;
Nurtured by a gentle, flowing river,
Caressed by the radiant sunbeams forever.

Tigbauan, your strands are fully-laden,
Your coconut palm wine tastes like honey;
Truly delicious are the fish from your sea,
And the maidens are dainty and pretty.

Tigbauan, in you, hope always lingers,
Your hidden wealth abounds everywhere;
Held in store for who dares to endeavor,
The hard-working,will never face hunger.

In your temple of worship and your streets,
Immortally printed in blood and tears,
Of your own dearest heroic children ,
Your unfading history, Tigbauan!

Tigbauan,,you are a fair Eden land ,
Where you find people who are known to be,
Hospitable ,charming and so  friendly,
And fervently worship the Almighty.

Tigbauan, beautiful and untroubled
Nest of intimacy and happiness;
Long live Tigbauan, home of the free,
 Mabuhay ,Oh, Tigbauan, Mabuhay !

( This is a singable English translation of  Himno sang Tigbauan)

Mother

The person I love so dearly,
The one who takes good care of me;
Who makes sure I'm fine, night and day,
And thinks of me when I'm away.

Though she has without a life partner,
"Cause we lost father earlier;
She strives to give us a shelter,
Where she keeps us safe together.

Sometimes I see tears in her eyes,
As she looks up into the skies;
Over many trials she grieves,
Yet to the Lord she firmly cleaves.

Nothing can efface forever,
The love and warmth of a mother;
Of all the gifts God gave to me,
The greatest of them all is she.

In my heart, specially I hold,
More precious than jewels of gold;
"Mother"_fountain of love untold,
My peerless treasure in this world.
